Who do I work with?

I work with people at all kinds of crossroads, not just one type of career change:

  • Professionals questioning their current path and feeling burnt out, restless, or like something just isn't fitting anymore, the way I felt at 39.

  • Recent grads and early-career professionals who chose a program or first job without ever really examining their own interests and values, and are now facing bigger decisions with the same missing piece.

  • People navigating a layoff and using an unplanned transition as a chance to figure out what's actually next, instead of just landing in the nearest available job.

  • People returning to work after time away due to parental leave, caregiving, or any other kind of pause, who need to re-orient rather than just pick up where they left off.

  • Career changers and pivoters leaving one field for something that feels unrelated, the way I moved from counselling into photography and back again.

  • Retirees exploring what comes next, not necessarily a full-time job, but meaningful ways to spend their time, skills, and energy in this new chapter.

  • Anyone who feels stuck or plateaued, even without a crisis prompting it, looking for the language and clarity to make a decision they haven't been able to put into words on their own.

About me:

I've always been fascinated by what makes people who they are: their unique perspectives, interests, motivations, and the experiences that shape how they see themselves. I believe all good decisions start with understanding yourself, not just knowing your options. Through assessments, thoughtful conversation, and practical reflection, I help my clients uncover patterns in their personality, interests, skills, and values, and transform those insights into a valuable tool they can use BEFORE they make their next move.

Listen, I'm not here to hand you a single right answer (wouldn’t that be nice!?). My role is to help you see yourself and your possibilities more clearly, so your decisions feel informed, intentional, and genuinely your own.

How I got here:

I graduated with a degree in psychology in my 20s and was told that my “gift of gab” would make me successful in sales. After years of engaging conversations in a variety of sales positions (but very few sales), I completed a career assessment that suggested I become either a funeral director or a career counsellor. Although these are very different career directions, I could see the similarity - helping people through a process at a vulnerable stage in their lives. I chose the latter and went on to earn a degree in Career and Work Counselling. My mission was to help people make decisions about their future. I spent my 30s working in the field and raising my family. Then, in 2014, at 39, I found myself questioning my own next move. I started posting photos I had taken on my iPhone to Instagram and quickly realized I had a gift for seeing things from a different perspective. That discovery led to an unexpected second career, and I spent the next decade as a fine art photographer. I loved finding and capturing unique perspectives, but I also found myself increasingly responsible for the part of the business I had never enjoyed: sales. It drained my energy and eventually made me question, once again, what I wanted to do next. Now in my early 50s, I returned to where my own career journey started: assessments. I am now certified to professionally administer and interpret the assessments I work with you on.

I realized the two seemingly different careers I chose were connected by the same thing: perspective. Photography taught me that changing how you look at something can completely change what you see, and career assessment does the same. It gives you a new way to see yourself. I am so excited to get to work to help YOU make decisions about your future - whatever stage you are at.

Know yourself before your next move.
